Lewis Coaches, Inc is a family owned and operated company. The company was founded in 1960 by Earl Lewis, Sr. under the name of Lewis Bus Service and provided school bus services in the local New Orleans area. Recognizing a need for a dependable charter bus carrier, in 1980 Lewis Bus Service added motor coaches to its’ operation. The company continued to operate under the name Lewis Bus Service until 1991 when the company name was changed to Lewis Coaches, Inc.

Currently, Lewis Coaches, Inc. is under the leadership of Harold W. Lewis, Sr., President, Harold W. Lewis, Jr., General Manager and Braden J. Lewis, Director of Operations. The current leadership represents the second, third and fourth generation of the Lewis Family to operate the company and they are fully committed to providing outstanding service with an emphasis on safety.
